Visiting Lecturer, 3D Dept., Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA
Developed and taught beginning and advanced furniture design   classes. Included preparation and presentation of class lectures and demonstrations, student and faculty consultations, organizing and supervising class field trips, organizing and setting up student shows. Responsible for student safety and coordination with woodshop manager and technicians.
1993-94 Studio Manager, Woodshop Studio,  Mass College of Art, Boston, MA
Responsible for all aspects of 3000sq ft., fully equipped wood studio. Included supervision of work-study students and instruction in proper machinery use, coordination with faculty and students, machinery maintenance, coordination with other department staff (electrical, A/V,plumbing, etc.). Responsible for woodshop budget, which included tool and material acquisition for classes and tool maintenance.
1993 Faculty Representative, Haystack School of Arts and Crafts, Deer Isle, ME. Supervision of students during weeklong art programs.
1981 Apprentice to mason and stone carver, Texas Carved Stone, Florence, TX. Assisted with preparation and stocking of jobs. Assisted with brick and stone wall construction. Assisted with fireplace and hearth fabrication.
1979 Crafts and preservation program developer, Mary Hambidge Center, Rabun Gap, GA. Prepared craft preservation plan after consulting with directors at Hambidge Center and researching history of previous programs. Developed written program for preservation and study of weavings and restoration of barns and flock of wool-producing sheep.
1978 Private airline interior fabricator, Associated Airways, Love Field, Dallas, TX. Constructed custom interiors, including cabinets, tables, and shelves for commercial-size private airplanes.
1978 Custom-design furniture and antique refinisher, Gregor's Antiques, Dallas, TX. Custom finishing and antique reproduction and restoration.

White Wind is a custom furniture studio, cabinet shop, and woodworking job shop. We design and build furniture for retail sale. I also accept commissions for custom pieces, furniture and cabinets, which I either design and build or build to client specifications. I have also completed small production runs of wooden objects such as display frames and fixtures for commercial clients.
